ERIK SARAS

Erik is a producer, writer and director living and working in the New York City tri-state area. Collaborating with musicians and actors, Erik’s early performance works featured narration, dancers, and singers accompanied by live music ensembles.
Studying music performance and orchestration at Northwestern University and Manhattan School of Music, Erik later brought his storytelling education to screenwriting. He is the co-creator, writer, and director of the award winning sci-fi podcast Marsfall.

Sam Boase-Miller started his professional career after graduating from Interlochen Arts Academy. This included teaching, performing, and studying at Ithaca College, DePaul University, and Western Michigan University. As the former Associate-Principal Cellist of the Manhattan Symphonie, Sam toured China twice and performed regularly in the great venues of New York City, including Lincoln Center, Bargemusic, and Carnegie Hall.
While in New York, Sam founded Marsfall LLC with his three best friends Erik Saras, Dan Lovley, and Brian Goodheart. Sam resides in beautiful northern Michigan where he teaches at Northwestern Michigan College. He writes, produces, composes, and records music and voice over for his current projects, and the award-winning sci-fi podcast Marsfall.

Dan Lovley is an actor, writer, educator and father living and working in Massachusetts.
Dan studied acting at Boston University’s College of Fine Arts and at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts, and he holds a graduate degree in Education from Loyola Marymount University. Dan is a member of the Upright Citizens Brigade, Actors Equity Association, and SAG-AFTRA. Dan has performed in New York, London, Los Angeles and Boston, doing everything from theatre to film to commercials to voice-over and podcasting.
He is a co-creator, writer, director, and actor in the award winning sci-fi podcast, Marsfall. He and his incredible wife Shannon are also co-creators of their amazing son, Benjamin.

Brian is an NYC based creative producer, writer, director, sound designer and re-recording engineer.
He has mixed award winning commercials and short films, and award-winning feature films that have premiered at SXSW and Berlin International Film Festival.
He is a co-owner, creative producer, and engineer for the award winning sci-fi podcast Marsfall, and co-writer and co-director of the satirical web-series COUP! (Tribeca, 2020).

Shannon Lovley is an actor currently based in Massachusetts. She studied at Boston University and at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Arts. She performed at NYC’s New World Stages, starring in Bullet for Adolf.
Credited under her maiden name, Garland, she had recurring roles in Boardwalk Empire as Nuala Rohan and Law and Order SVU as Officer Denise Legrange. She is delighted to join the cast of Marsfall as Commander Jacki O’Rania.
ABA WOODRUFF
Originally from the south, Aba is an Actress, Writer and Director, who enjoys intentional storytelling.
Having studied Mass communications at Clark Atlanta University before moving East with her family to pursue her career in acting, Aba went on to train at and become an alumni of William Esper Studios and The Independent Film School in NYC. Aba has been calling NJ/NY home for several years now and she is passionate about her plants, thanks to a semi green thumb, coffee, music, sustainable living, books and most things analog.
Currently Aba is gearing up for pre-production on her own short project, a psychological thriller, she’s working on a feature script and looking forward to many more adventures with the Marsfall crew.

Anya is an actor, producer, curator, facilitator and educator. Born in St. Petersburg, raised in Israel, she currently juggles a number of hats in NYC. After graduation from AADA, she founded Lost & Found Project in 2011 in hopes to create a unique ensemble laboratory which through the verbatim technique is bridging personal narratives and explores the dialogue between the past and present, the self and surrounding.
Recently featured in the 5th season of “The Americans”, Anya is a great believer in ensemble work and the field of experimental and immersive theater. Anya is also a huge fan of audio drama and produced SHAYNA podcast in 2017 and is immensely grateful to be featured as one of the lead characters in Marsfall.

Ani Mateo Alvirez
Aramis Martinez is an actor, writer, and director. A New York native, he trained at HB Studios and Wynn Handman’s Studio. In television credits, he has appeared in On the Case with Paula Zahn, Dates From Hell, Deadly Devotion, Frenemies, Unusual Suspects, and Girl Code. He has worked on various New York Film Academy thesis films, including The Wolf Among Us and The Moment.
He continues to seek out a wide variety of projects to improve his acting skills. When not working on a show or film, Aramis acts, writes, and directs for Finding Home Pictures, a production company in New York.

Geoff Thomassen
James originated the role of Cedric in Off-Broadway’s Puffs or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic (New World Stages), released as a Fathom Event in movie theatres nationwide.
His voice over credits include the Audible original series, Ghostsitter, and he has narrated more than 300 audio books. James produces and hosts the podcast “Dragons, Sexy Robots & Adventures”.

Stephanie Hsu is an actor of stage and screen. She most recently completed principal photography on the highly-anticipated A24 feature from The Daniels, “Everything Everywhere All At Once” alongside Michelle Yeoh, Jamie Lee Curtis and Jonathan Ke Quan.
Stephanie can be seen in season three and upcoming season four of Amazon’s hit show, “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” as Mei. The cast won a SAG Award in 2020 for Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series. On Broadway, she originated the role of Christine Canigula in the audience favorite, Be More Chill. For this performance she received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination and a Drama Desk Award Nomination. She has performed all over NYC from downtown to uptown and made her Broadway debut as Karen The Computer in SpongeBob Squarepants The Musical.
Past television and film credits include “The Path,” “Awkwafina is Nora from Queens,” “Femme,” “Set It Up,” “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” and “Girl Code.”

MERISSA MORIN

Merissa is proud to consider herself an artist in many senses of the word. Growing up in a family of musicians, she learned to sing and harmonize from a very young age. She graduated from a musical theater magnet high school in South Florida and then from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA degree through CAP21.
Also being a singer-songwriter, she performs with her sister Chloe as The Morin Sisters with originals and covers. Emboldened by the vigor of New York City and inspired by her family’s long time involvement in children’s musical theatre, she created her own company Penny and the Puppettes to continue her family’s artistic legacy.

Sergey Nagorny is a New York based actor with a vast experience in Voice Over work. He has lent his voice to Commercials (Afrin), Video Games (GTA V, BoomBeach), Podcasts (Shayna), and even on-air commentary for WWE Monday Night Raw and Smack Down Live!
He is thankful to the creators of MARSFALL for giving him the opportunity to work with such a creative bunch of writers and actors!

Jordan Cobb is a New York City based actress and writer. Creator of No Such Thing Productions, Jordan wrote and starred in the sci-fi horror podcast series Janus Descending (Chel), the fantasy-comedy Here Be Dragons (Harper Bennett and Dr. Natalya Atlas), and the high seas adventure-thriller Primordial Deep (Dr. Marella Morgan). She has written for Fable and Folly’s Alba Salix; Royal Physician, Long Story Short’s Unseen, and The Paragon Collective’s The Oyster. As an actress, Jordan has been featured on over four-dozen audio dramas.
YELENA SHMULENSON

Yelena Shmulenson grew up in Ukraine and emigrated with her family in the 90’s. Instead of getting a real job, she decided to become an actress, and now spends her life making silly faces. She fought a dybbuk in the Coen brothers’ A Serious Man, she was a gangster’s wife on Boardwalk Empire, a doctor on Chicago Med, a spy in Robert DeNiro’s The Good Shepherd, Juliet’s mom in Romeo & Juliet in Yiddish and she’s been in and out of prison on Orange is The New Black.
She is also a singer and an audio book narrator. A lifelong sci-fi fan, this is her first time playing a computer.

Cooper is an 8 year old rescue living in Brooklyn. While not actually the first dog on Mars, she has raised over 30 foster pups, and is absolutely spoiled by her humans – Pat and Mollie. Cooper accidentally became famous on Instagram in 2018, and is excited to break into the podcast world.

Eli Barraza is a creator based in Los Angeles, with experience writing for stage, screen, and audio. She entered the world of podcasts via the writer’s room for the time-travelconspiracy thriller ars PARADOXICA and later co-founded the podcast collective The Whisperforge with that same team. Eli then launched her own show, The Far Meridian. She has also written guest episodes for other podcasts, like the Chicago-based Our Fair City, Historic Royal Palaces’ Outliers, and the critically- acclaimed drama The Bright Sessions.

Sean is a speaker, author, podcaster, strategist and marketer. He began podcasting in 2011 and co-created the acclaimed podcast Alba Salix in 2014.

Kristi Boulton is a multi-hat wearing creative living in Ontario, Canada. When she’s not playing Beatrix and Suit on Civilized, voice acting, or improvising with her troupes, she’s playing with puppets, writing plays, taking baths, or reading her favourite books, (it’s probably Wise Man’s Fear) for the 115th time. Kristi couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Marsfall crew, playing Denote! She hopes her fan-girling didn’t come through her acting too much as she adores this show and everyone involved. Addie Nofal is a Latina and MENA actor based in Chicago who loves cats and anything creative. She has worked on various projects from theatre to voiceover to film, but takes a special interest in all things voiceover. Beginning in late 2020, she has worked on audio dramas (The Strata, Moonbase Theta: Out, Archion), video games (Genshin Impact, My Time at Sandrock), animation (Dooro Bear, ABCmouse), commercials (Spotify, WEBTOON), and more. A New York based actor working in film, television, and stage, Graham most recently appeared in the Broadway production of Steve Martin’s, “Meteor Shower”.
He’s an award winning audiobook narrator and can been heard on the podcast audio dramas The Silt Verses, The NoSleep Podcast, SCP Archives, The Hotel and The Wicked Library. While in high school, Graham was briefly suspended from performing the morning announcements because of “inappropriate sounds.”

Anya is an actor working on stage, screen and in voice-over. Her performances can be seen on CBS, FX, and extensively in national commercials, pilots, web-series and audiobooks. She values a good giggle and is the creator and star of the Ambrosia series which chronicles a vampire coping in quarantine. The audio adaptation of which, Ambrosia in Correspondence, was a finalist for The Missouri Review’s Miller Audio Prize. A new series stars Anya as a fast-talking doctor moonlighting as a janitor by the name of Joanie Fark, I mean…the pharma-industrial complex, amiright?

Ryan Aldred is a traditionally published novelist (Rum Luck), interactive fiction writer (Flowers and Thorns, Caverns and Cave Trolls) and playwright (Home) based in Prince Edward County, Canada.
He has served in the Canadian Forces as an Intelligence Operator for more than 25 years, and runs a small international charity with educational projects in Tanzania, Afghanistan, and Uganda.
THE DREAM EATERS
Pop Singers
The Dream Eaters – Elizabeth LeBaron of Calgary and Jake Zavracky of Boston met while working at a bar in the Gowanus neighborhood of Brooklyn NY, and started recording together, producing numerous EPs, singles, and LPs from 2015 to present.
In September 2020 they dropped the first episode of “The Dream Eating Freakshow”, a show that featured a bizarre collection of music videos of their own making. Several more episodes followed throughout 2020 and 2021. In 2022, the band started consistently producing videos of short and darkly comic songs, posting them to social media and accruing millions of views.
In the second half of 2023 they will begin releasing an updated version of their show called “We Are The Dream Eaters”. A short film in the same vein will be released in early 2024.

Located in Traverse City, Michigan, Bonnie Hardin works in marketing, web design, art, and wine. She is the Sales and Marketing Coordinator at Mari Vineyards and an active member of the Michigan wine industry, currently serving on the board of the Michigan Wine Collaborative.
A graduate of Michigan State University, Bonnie has a BA in Global Studies in the Arts and Humanities, with minors in French and Religious Studies. She has her WSET 2 certification and is working towards obtaining her level three.
